Right, so this one deserves some setup.
A couple of weeks ago, Kristin mentioned that Ghoultown would be playing in Madison.

Fat lot of good that does us.
Or does it?
I looked at Ghoultown's web page.
Pretty Darn Cool.
I looked at Mapquest.
Madison's not really that far away...

The weekend before the show, we realized Ghoultown would be playing in Champaign. We were all psyched for the trip so we decided it would be much more fun to go to both shows.

Points a Camera at the Band...
You may notice there are very few pictures of either band. I didn't take that many of The Gammits (who, by the way, are a Damn Fine Band) or any of Tormentula (who weren't really my thing), but that doesn't explain the lack of Ghoultown pics.

Ha Ha Ha.
I seem to have bumped the exposure compensation dial early in Ghoultown's set causing some fairly severe underexposure. My concert pictures tend to be pretty dark anyway (it's called atmosphere, you uncultured boob), but I have about a roll's worth of disembodied guitars. These are the shots I managed to salvage. Photoshop is my friend.

Of course the real punchline is that I'm still going to the August 21 show in Champaign so I have a second chance.
